The Primary election will be this coming Tuesday, July 25. There is
expected to be a huge battle over who will control the Oklahoma state
government. It is possible that the Republicans who have never controlled
the state senate have a chance to do so this year. Only time will tell,
but what happens is in control of those that choose to vote and how they
vote.
It seems that the two parties appear to be more balanced this election
year than they have ever before. Much of the focus is on the Governor's
race, but if you've been watching the local stations on your television I
am sure you have seen a variety of names running for a variety of offices
looking for your vote.
If you are like me and do not know most of the candidates, how do you
know who to vote for? One way is to look at how they have responded to
questions ask them on a variety of surveys.
One such survey was sent out by "Oklahomans for Life", and
you can view the results by going on line to www.OKForLife.org.
Also posted is the responses of the judicial candidates who replied to
their judicial survey.
To vote is the right of all citizens of our great nation, and for a lot
of us we choose not to vote, but if you do care about who wins you should
take time this Tuesday to vote.
