I received this e-mail recently and thought I would share with you a
new way we can help some of the people from Hurricane Katrina. If you want
to donate we could do it as a church and someone could collect the Bibles
and send them. If you are interested we need to get on the ball and do it
as soon as possible.
Read the following and considered how you can help to send someone the
comfort of God’s word.

Donate Bibles to Hurricane Victims!
The victims of Hurricane Katrina need food, water, and other necessary
supplies, but they also need a hope that can only be found in our Savior,
Jesus Christ.
Donate new and gently used Bibles to show those suffering that Jesus
cares for them.
Concordia Gospel Outreach, the mission outreach agency of Concordia
Publishing House, will distribute all gifts to the churches and other
agencies aiding in the disaster relief in Louisiana, Mississippi, and
Alabama.
