  • We’re A Praying Church!  We call ourselves "Prayer Partners". Our purpose is to pray for our church and the lives of those in it and the community around us. Someone from this congregation is praying on behalf of this church everyday of the week! They collect prayers throughout the week. This list is kept confidential, so if you have a prayer concern, we invite you to bring it to our prayer partners. You can do this through Ronald or BJ, or better yet, you can bring your requests directly to one of the Prayer Partners: Bill or Doris Harrison, James or Dee Heide or John or Debbie Tunning. "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father." John 14:13

The next meeting will be Thursday, September 14 at 6:30pm.

We are currently studying and learning more about God The Son. This is a very informative and exciting study. The material we have on it is some of the best that we've ever read concerning this subject. Please join us as we study and pray for our communities.

  • Altus Scripture Scrapbooking! A new scrapbook group is organizing in Altus. Talk to Mona if you are interested.

  • Thank you to James T. and Bill H. for the restroom remodeling. It looks great!

  • Men's Breakfast: The men of the Altus community meet for Bible study over breakfast on Wednesdays at 6:30am at the church. B.J. or John Dee lead the Bible study on Hebrews.

  • New Ministry opportunity! Faith Lutheran Church began leading devotions and singing at the Plantation Village Nursing Home. Anyone who wants to be involved with this is welcome. The devotions begin at 2:00 p.m. Contact B.J. if you want to be part of this new ministry.

  • Mother’s Day Out now has 8 families enrolled. Please pray for our program, giving thanks for the families and for the addition of more new families.
