Read: Luke 19-20
Meditation: Jesus is making his way to Jerusalem to fight the
battle to end all battles (light vs.darkness). Many of the people
gather to cheer, but Jesus' enemies gather to plot His death. The two
kingdoms have meet and only one will walk away victorious.
Prayer Starter: Dear Lord, You have given us a great
treasure bought for us at a great price. Help me to put this good news
to work in Your kingdom.

Read: Luke 21-22
Meditation: The cross is the focal point of all history. Jesus
often taught His disciples about that cross that lay ahead for Him, but He
also talk about the crosses that all of His followers would have to carry
because we belong to Him. We can not ignore the cross.
Prayer Starter: Lord, help me to take up my cross and follow
You. 
Read: Luke 23-24
Meditation: The Old Testament often talked about the events that
you are going read about today. As you read keep in mind that Jesus did this
in my place. It is my punishment that He took upon Himself.
Prayer Starter: Lord, You have brought me from death to life. Help
me to worship You as I should. 
Read: John 1-2
Meditation: John's gospel introduces us to several simple but key
words that will reappear again and again. As you read this fourth pillar
look for these key words: life, light, Word, hour (or Time), truth, and
sign.
Prayer Starter: Jesus, You are my lamb, my life, my light that
does bring change into my life. 
Read: John 3
Meditation: John the Baptizer is wrapping up his ministry. Jesus is
beginning His ministry. Many in Israel are spiritually hungry and thirsty
and begin to follow Jesus. We see the words: life, light, and truth.
Prayer Starter: Lord, help me to see You as my light every time I turn on
a light. 
Read: John 4
Meditation:
Samaritans and Jews hate each other to the point that a Jew would
not walk through Samaria. Here we see Jesus breaking tradition by going
into Samaria and by talking to a women with a sorted past.
Prayer Starter: Jesus, You did Your Father's will by going
places and doing things that most of us would find very uncomfortable or
impossible to do. Lord, help me to be more like You.
