The Triune God: God the Holy Spirit

What do we mean by "the communion of saints"?
Part 10 on the Apostles Creed b

"I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen." - 3rd Article of the Apostles Creed.

We continued in our devotions on the Apostles Creed last week with basically an introductory study on the third person of the Trinity; the Holy Spirit. This week, however, we will not only look at what the Holy Spirit does in our individual life, but also what He does in our church as well. We study some complicated concepts, but with the power of the Holy Spirit, we should be able to recognize the essential work of the Holy Spirit to bring us into the fellowship of the Christian church.

We will also learn that the concept of the Holy Christian Church and the Communion of Saints are not possible without the work of the Holy Spirit. As you read this week, try and tie in the Holy Spirit and His work into our life as a church.
