from Mike and Mary Means

A present need; perhaps you'd like to help:

The Central Oklahoma Lutherans For Life Chapter has been asked to team with East European Ministry Network for a series of seminars April 20-22, 2006. Mike and Mary Means will be traveling to Bielsko, Poland to present "A Laymen’s Perspective: Fathers, Family and the Sanctity of Life."

The East European Ministry Network has asked us to assist in seeking donations for the translation of materials to be distributed. Mike and Mary will be presenting to pastors one evening, to youth another evening, and then to lay leaders on another day. Our goal is to raise $2000 in the next few weeks to cover the cost of all translation work.

If you (or your church or a church group) would be willing to make a special donation to this effort, please make your checks payable to Central Oklahoma Lutherans for Life. Put the word "Poland" on the memo field. And send it to:

East European Ministry Network ( www.eemn.org ) was started by retired LCMS Pastor Don Richman as a method of rebuilding the Lutheran Churches in former communist areas of Eastern Europe.
